You can use doors in branch to lock offices and meeting rooms, so that you can have private conversations with others. You can also use doors to create a private space where you can work quietly.
When doors are closed, team members and guests on the outside can knock on the door. You can then choose to open the door to let them into the room.
Let's dive in!
1. To open or close a door, click on the doorway to open and close.
2. Closing a door will automatically lock anybody outside of the room from hearing any audio or seeing screenshares or videos that are happening within the closed meeting room or office.
In the example above, the door to the office that David and Katrina are in is closed - so anyone outside of the closed office will not be able to hear their conversation. The door to the meeting room that Jacob and Nick are in is open - so anyone can walk freely into the meeting room to join the conversation, and anyone nearby the open door will be able to hear their conversation.
3. If a door is closed and will not open, click on the door to "Knock" and ask to join.
If the door is closed and you'd like to enter the meeting room or office, click on the door to "Knock" and ask to join.
Note: If a door is closed from the inside, only people on the inside of the room can open the door. If a door is closed from the outside, only people on the outside of the room can open the door.
